On Saturday, May 20th, I’ll be at the Chattanooga downtown library for a signing event. This event is organized by local poetry group Rhyme N Chatt, as well as local PBS station WTCI-Educate, and it’s more or less a final farewell to all the authors and poets who participated in April’s Raise Your Voice program. Through a grant donated by Arts Build, Rhyme N Chatt was able to purchase five copies of my book Scribble, which they will be able to give away to kids who come to meet me and the other writers, who also have free copies of their own books to give away.
There will be food trucks, children’s activities, readings, and more. I’m so thankful that I got to participate in this event, and I am really looking forward to chatting with all the other children’s book writers and readers next week! If you live in the Chattanooga area, come by from 11 AM to 2 PM and pick up a copy of my book, or if you already have a copy – grab one from a different author. And be sure to get autographs!
